Operations Manager (Fremont)

Job Summary

The Operations Manager will oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with company standards. This role requires strong leadership, proficiency in ERP systems and manufacturing software, and the ability to optimize processes for productivity and cost-effectiveness. Mandarin language proficiency is a plus for communication with international teams and suppliers.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Ensure a team’s day-to-day work aligns with organizational goals
• Collaborate and connect internal teams providing support and ensuring that all of the team requests are met.
• Developing and implementing company policies.
• Oversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction
• Create actionable plans to help employees prioritize tacks and achieve individual goal
• Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements
• Supervising and training employees to complete tasks according to company standards
• Coordinating with department heads to achieve organizational goals.
• Improving work processes to increase productivity or reduce waste.
• Evaluating employee performance by tracking key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Identifying opportunities to increase revenue or connect with new customers
• Manage Continuous Improvement within the department in conjunction with the continuous improvement activities of the organization

Required Skills/Abilities

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and supply chain management.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and manufacturing software.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions to improve operational efficiency.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in manufacturing.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software is required.
• Strong communication skills: bilingual in English, Mandarin or Spanish is a plus.
