Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist-I to support our client’s medical facility, which is based in Sun City, CA 92586.

This is a Contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Location: Sun City, CA, 92586

Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30 am to 3:30 pm (40hours/week)

Pay Range: $22 - $27.20 (Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.) The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection with precision, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate specimen handling.
• Verify patient identity and accurately label, document, and process specimens in compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of phlebotomy workstations and equipment, adhering to infection control and lab safety protocols.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient information and specimen data with high attention to detail.
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients and clinical teams to support high-quality care and smooth workflow coordination.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification is required

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 6 months of experience REQUIRED.
• One (+) year of phlebotomy experience is preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment is preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is a must.
