About the Role

Verkada is seeking a visionary Senior Product Manager to lead the transformation of how organizations visualize, plan, and manage their security infrastructure through cutting-edge mapping and device lifecycle solutions. This role presents an extraordinary opportunity to define and build the future of proactive security management through intuitive, real-time visual interfaces.

This role offers the unique opportunity to shape zero-to-one product experiences that merge real-time situational awareness with seamless device lifecycle workflows.

On one front, you’ll own powerful, interactive mapping tools that bring together live video streams, alerts, and device actions in a visually intuitive interface. Think Figma on top of Google Maps —tools designed for rapid response to emergent threats and proactive security management.

On the other hand, you’ll lead the evolution of our Device Lifecycle Management platform—from how devices are planned and purchased, to how they are provisioned, installed, and ultimately maintained to ensure all threats are responded to in a matter of seconds. You’ll have the ability to shape the full end-to-end journey that defines how organizations experience Verkada.

This role sits at the intersection of design-driven product vision, enterprise-scale systems thinking, and real-world security operations. By leading these mission-critical areas, you’ll help us define the future of enterprise physical security platforms.

What You'll Do

• Define the vision for Mapping tools : Drive the next generation of our geospatial mapping tools, creating real-time, interactive map experiences that integrate alerts, live video feeds, and device actions to give organizations unparalleled visibility and control


• Own zero-to-one product development : Lead the end to end development of our Mapping tools by delivering a modern, collaborative product experience, balancing usability with scale for enterprises


• Shape proactive security workflows : Build tools that empower organizations to anticipate and respond rapidly to threats, evolving beyond static maps to living operational interfaces


• Lead Device Lifecycle Management : Define workflows that streamline how customers and partners plan, purchase, deploy, configure, and manage devices across buildings, regions, and countries


• Collaborate cross-functionally : Work with Engineering, Design, Sales, and Partner teams to translate customer insights into scalable product capabilities


• Establish and track success metrics : Develop KPIs that measure adoption, operational efficiency, and business outcomes, continuously iterating based on customer feedback


• Bridge technical and commercial needs : Balance system design with business impact, ensuring products meet both customer security needs and operational workflows

What You Bring

• Minimum 6+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise software


• Bonus points if you have worked on the development of any of the following


• Proven track record owning zero-to-one or large-scale rebuild products from concept through launch and adoption


• Data-driven decision making, with experience defining metrics and validating product success through measurable outcomes. Bonus points for SQL expertise (directly query, no drag and drop)


• Strong design sensibility and ability to create highly intuitive interfaces for complex, real-time data systems


• Experience building end-to-end user journeys across both enterprise customers and partner / reseller ecosystems


• Excellent communication skills with the ability to align diverse stakeholders around a compelling vision


• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Design, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus

Annual Pay Range

At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs)

Below is the annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable).

$185,000 - $215,000 USD
