Position Overview
We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager who’s ready to take the lead across all HR operations for a vibrant team of 150+ employees, including full-time, part-time, and seasonal agricultural staff.
Our teams include fast-paced sales leaders, thoughtful researchers, innovative engineers, creative marketers, and nearly every personality type that all require unique training, care and compliance regulations. If you’re a hands-on, bilingual, solutions‑driven HR pro who thrives in a fast‑moving farm environment, this role is for you. You’ll bring strong expertise in California labor laws, agricultural workforce management, and the unique rhythm of a year‑round farm operation. Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage all HR operations including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and training
• Oversee seasonal hiring cycles and workforce planning to meet production needs
• Ensure compliance with California labor laws, OSHA, and agricultural employment regulations
• Maintain accurate HR records, oversee payroll coordination, and manage benefits administration
• Foster a positive workplace culture grounded in communication, safety, and teamwork
• Coach managers and supervisors in leadership, employee management, and conflict resolution
• Implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices to support organizational growth
• Handle investigations, disciplinary actions, and confidential employee matters
• Drive employee retention and engagement initiatives across diverse teams
Qualifications
✔ 5+ years HR management experience, preferably in agriculture, manufacturing, or labor-intensive industries
✔ Strong working knowledge of California labor laws and compliance
✔ Experience managing a workforce of 100+ employees
✔ Bilingual English/Spanish would be helpful but not necessary
✔ Demonstrated strength in employee relations, coaching, and conflict resolution
✔ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on farm or production environment
✔ Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
