BSN Dean

Job description:

We are looking for a Dean, BSN Program to join our team.

This position will be responsible for the site supervision, development, planning, coordination, organization, implementation and evaluation of the nursing program activities.

• Manages RN program budget, faculty, staff, curriculum, compliance, policies, handbooks, and student advocacy.
• Oversees clinical site liaison, evaluations, contracts, rotations, and approvals.
• Prepares state/Board reports, self-studies, and maintains records.
• Recruits, hires, orients, and evaluates nursing faculty; conducts meetings.
• Handles admissions, orientation, articulation agreements, and student advising/grievances.
• Monitors instruction quality, program review, NCLEX/job placement rates.
• Serves on committees, resolves conflicts, and conducts Advisory Committee meetings.
• Builds community partnerships, markets program, and joins professional associations.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a current RN license in the state where the campus is located
• A masters or higher degree from an accredited college or University that includes course work in nursing, education or administration
• A minimum of two years of experience in an administrative position
• A minimum of two years of teaching experience in pre- or post-licensure nursing programs
• At least two years of experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care and/or equivalent experience as determined by the Board
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Excellent skills in oral and written communications
