Job Title: PCBA Soldering Technician Location: ​​San Jose​, CA Zip Code: 95119 Start Date: Right Away Job Type: Contract Pay Rate: $35-$40/hr Keywords: #Quality Inspector #PCBA Job Description: We are seeking a skilled PCBA Soldering Technician to support production and rework of high-quality electronic assemblies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for candidates with strong hand soldering, through-hole soldering, and PCB/PCBA rework experience who can work with precision and maintain high workmanship standards. This is a hands-on position supporting the assembly, repair, and rework of electronic hardware used in a highly regulated production setting. Candidates should be comfortable working with small components, following work instructions, and maintaining quality in a production-driven environment. Key Responsibilities

• Perform hand soldering on printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs)
• Complete through-hole soldering, touch-up, and rework / repair of electronic components
• Support production builds of electronic assemblies and subassemblies
• Read and follow work instructions, assembly documentation, and process requirements
• Inspect completed solder joints and ensure workmanship meets quality expectations
• Maintain clean, organized, and ESD-safe work areas
• Support production schedules and quality goals in a fast-moving manufacturing environment
• Assist with troubleshooting or correcting workmanship issues as needed

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in PCBA soldering, electronics assembly, or electronic manufacturing
• Strong experience with hand soldering and through-hole soldering
• Experience performing PCBA rework / repair
• Ability to work with small components and detailed electronic assemblies
• Familiarity with production processes in an electronics manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with IPC standards such as IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001
• Experience in aerospace, defense, avionics, medical device, or other high-reliability electronics manufacturing
• Experience with microscope work, fine-detail soldering, or inspection support
• Ability to support both assembly and basic quality-related tasks
