You’ll be the go-to person for keeping our plant safe, efficient, and reliable—every shift, every decision, every day. **What You’ll Do** You’ll take charge of starting, stopping, and monitoring equipment—reading gauges, meters, and recording every detail in operating logs. Using computers and monitoring tools, you’ll measure, record, and make real-time adjustments to keep everything within operating parameters. But this isn’t just about watching screens. You’ll roll up your sleeves for a variety of plant maintenance tasks: diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment with safety and efficiency as your north star. Overhauls and system improvements? That’s on your plate too. You’ll help develop operational procedures, train operators, and feed ideas into plant betterment projects that boost safety, reliability, and efficiency. Compliance is non-negotiable—you’ll ensure we meet all local, state, and federal regulations, plus NERC and ISO requirements. **Key Responsibilities**

• Perform complex technical services requiring specialized operational knowledge, making decisions on non-routine or escalated issues.
• Meet contract sales agreements by operating within safe, reliable, and efficient equipment limits during your shift.
• Independently prioritize and execute tasks—your work sets the standard for quality and advanced technical competency.
• Resolve the most complex technical issues, occasionally conferring with management, and serve as a resource for others.
• Prepare and maintain reports and documents as needed, using email, MS Word, and MS Excel to communicate with the marketing team and update logs.
• Communicate with the Balancing Authority using strict 3-way communication protocols.
• Interpret and respond to visual and auditory signals from the control panel, and operate all station equipment during routine, abnormal, and emergency conditions.

**What You Bring** You have deep gas turbine industry experience—LMS 100 or similar—and Navy Gas Turbine experience is a strong plus. You’re comfortable working under limited supervision, with a track record of resolving complex technical issues. You know NERC requirements for simple or combined cycle plants inside out.
