Role Overview

Step into a fast-paced manufacturing warehouse where precision matters. As an Aerospace Materials Inventory Specialist, you’ll be the steward of parts, materials, and documentation that keep production and shipments on schedule and compliant.

Pay Range: $21 – $24 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time

A Day in the Life

Your morning might start at the receiving area, confirming counts, lot numbers, and certifications. By mid-day, you’re staging the next build’s materials, reconciling a cycle count variance, and updating records in Excel and the inventory system. In the afternoon, you coordinate with purchasing, production, and shipping to resolve a discrepancy and prepare a report for an internal audit—all while keeping storage areas clearly labeled for traceability and aligned with AS9100 standards.

What You’ll Handle

• Receive, issue, and track raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods with complete accuracy
• Maintain precise records in inventory platforms and Excel (data entry, tracking, reporting)
• Perform cycle counts and physical inventories; investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Stage parts for production to ensure on-time availability
• Verify part numbers, quantities, lot numbers, and certifications per quality requirements
• Uphold AS9100-compliant procedures and internal controls
• Collaborate closely with purchasing, production, and shipping to sustain inventory accuracy
• Keep storage locations organized and labeled for full traceability
• Produce inventory reports and support audits as needed

What You Bring

• 3+ years of inventory experience in an aerospace and/or manufacturing warehouse
• 2+ years working within an AS9100-regulated environment
• Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office (data entry, tracking, reporting)
• Comfort with basic math, counting, and units of measure
• Hands-on experience with travelers, certifications, and inventory documentation
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred

• Background with ERP or inventory management systems
• Knowledge of aerospace materials, part traceability, and quality documentation
• Success in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
