We are building autonomous surgical robots to drastically shorten the learning curve for surgeons.

IMPORTANT: Must Answer Pre-screen Questions for Submission

• Is candidate available to travel up to once a month - Candidate may be asked to travel to customer sites at most 1 time per month. Candidate should confirm they are ok with that.
• Will candidate be comfortable viewing real surgical procedures - During onsite visits, candidate will monitor/view real surgical procedures to see the product in action. They will need to be comfortable watching real surgical procedures.

Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field)
• 3+ years of relevant robotics experience
• Expertise in C++ and/or python
• Should be strong coder
• Experience working with Linux based systems
• Experience with cloud technologies

Strongly Preferred (Positives)

• Experience with ROS/ROS2 (Robot Operating System) is a plus
• Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
• Experience with Medical/Healthcare technologies is a plus

About the role

The ideal candidate is self-motivated and multi-tasker. You will be part of a small team with high level of expertise in different areas so team dynamics and communication will be key. You should excel in working with high performance and real time systems.

Responsibilities

• Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
• Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
• Support test and deployment of new products and features
• Architect robust software systems
• Participate in code reviews

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field)
• 3+ years of relevant work experience
• Expertise in C++ and/or python

Pay: $170,000.33 - $200,000.52 per year
