Payment Operations Specialist

Innova Solutions is partnering with a client that is actively seeking to hire an experienced Payment Operations Specialist.

Job Title: Payment Operations Specialist

Employment Type: Full-time (Contract)

Contract Duration: 2+ Months

Location: Dublin, CA – Hybrid Schedule

Alternating weekly:

• Week 1: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
• Week 2: 2 days onsite / 3 days remote

Essential Duties

• Monitor and manage ~150 MSP tickets per month tied to Zelle, Bill Pay, and FedNow transactions.
• Investigate exceptions and system alerts, performing root cause analysis and ensuring timely resolution.
• Support the Payments Help Line via Genesis, escalating issues when appropriate.
• Execute cleanup/catch-up work on in-process transactions to ensure payment continuity.
• Collaborate with internal teams (operations, compliance, technology) to resolve issues.
• Document resolutions and maintain compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
• Perform other duties as required within the Payment Operations team.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of payment processing or financial operations experience (Zelle, Bill Pay, FedNow strongly preferred).
• Experience with exception handling and reconciliation.
• Familiarity with MSP ticketing systems, Genesis, or similar platforms.
• Strong data entry accuracy and Microsoft Suite skills.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: Between $25-27per hour>

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
