The Patient Care Coordinator Eyecare/Eyewear Sales plays a crucial role in managing patient interactions and ensuring smooth appointment scheduling within the eyecare environment. This position also involves actively participating in eyewear sales, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining effective communication with patients to support their eyecare needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient scheduling and appointment coordination to optimize clinic flow
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding appointments and eyecare services
• Facilitate eyewear sales by assisting patients in selecting appropriate products
• Provide excellent customer service to enhance patient experience and satisfaction
• Coordinate with clinical staff to support patient care and follow-up activities

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Spanish speaking

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in patient care coordination
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
• Knowledge of insurance billing processes
• Sales techniques experience related to eyewear or healthcare products
• Strong communication and organizational skills
