Order Entry Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Order Entry Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Cypress, CA. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented customer support professional with strong ERP experience and a background in order processing, customer service, inside sales support, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing.

The Order Entry Specialist will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are entered accurately, tracked properly, and fulfilled on time. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where communication, teamwork, and accuracy are essential to customer satisfaction and operational success.

Key Responsibilities

- Enter, process, and maintain customer orders accurately in the ERP system.
- Review order details, pricing, quantities, shipping information, and customer requirements for accuracy.
- Coordinate with customers, sales, warehouse, shipping, and operations teams to support timely order fulfillment.
- Monitor order status and communicate updates, delays, shipment issues, or changes to internal teams and customers.
- Maintain accurate order records, documentation, and related customer account information.
- Assist with resolving order discrepancies, delivery issues, backorders, and other customer service concerns.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $45,000 to $50,000 per year.

Additional Skills

Required Qualifications and Skills

- 2+ years of experience in order entry, order processing, customer service, inside sales support, or logistics coordination.
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
- Strong data entry accuracy and order processing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage details, priorities, and follow-up tasks.
- Problem-solving ability with a customer-focused approach to resolving order and shipment issues.
