ABOUT US: Volcano Grille is a small, locally owned business in Southwest Las Vegas, NV. We have been serving fast-casual Teppanyaki to our local community since 2009!

THE JOB AT HAND: Our FOH team is the welcoming face of the restaurant and is responsible for providing our guests a great experience! Our FOH team is comfortable working in a fast-paced food service environment, can switch between tasks, and works well with other FOH and kitchen team members to ensure food quality, accuracy, and great service.

• Loves creating a welcoming environment. Naturally knows the importance of saying "Hello" and "Thank You" to all guests who visit or call.
• Exhibits great guest service skills even when guests are hangry or when we've messed up.
• Understands the importance of knowing the menu and making great recommendations to first-time guests.
• Works with a positive attitude at all times, whether the team is busting through a rush or in downtime and cleaning during lulls.
• Is reliable and shows up to work.
• Promotes the restaurant's menu items and can learn upselling skills and techniques that impact the guest's experience in a positive way.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment for guests and team members.
• Takes direction from leads and management with a positive spirit.
• Excellent cash handling skills.

• 3rd Party Delivery Partner tablets/systems

REQUIREMENTS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• Must be legally able to work in the U.S. and provide proper documentation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Must have a valid and current Southern Nevada Health District Food Handler's Card.
• Ability to stand/walk the service floor for long periods of time.
• Reliable transportation.
• Basic computer skills: we are a technologically advanced restaurant and we rely heavily on our systems for communication. At minimum, a FOH team member must be able to grasp the basic functions of our POS, daily checklist tracking, and scheduling platforms.
• Ability to understand written and verbal English, i.e., basic guest requests related to foodservice.

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
