As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will help us manage software that runs on the cloud and remotely manages millions of radio devices. You will work on a team and be a main point of contact during off shore hours and responsible for all aspects of cloud operations, such as:

• Infrastructure as Code
• Manage environments in AWS
• Monitoring and alerting
• Automation for scaling, failure recovery, disaster recovery
• Non-disruptive upgrades and rollbacks, etc.

The job is based in Milpitas and will require in-person presence in the office 5 days a week to interact with team members.

What you’ll be doing:

• Support development, test, staging, and production AWS environments
• Assist in setting up and managing Kubernetes clusters for deploying applications
• Help manage application services such as AWS Kafka, ElasticSearch, Redis, and RDS databases
• Automate monitoring and scaling for production systems supporting connected devices
• Monitor live systems and troubleshoot production issues
  
  

What You'll Need:

• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Solid Linux administration experience
• 2 - 5 years of hands-on experience in AWS
• Strong troubleshooting skills and curiosity to learn new technologies
• Exposure to Kubernetes
  
  

Nice-to-have:

• Terraform, CI/CD pipelines
• Istio, Helm charts
• Working with microservice architecture
• Exposure to EFK stack, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Kafka, Redis
• Experience with Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring
  
  

What we offer:

The salary range for this position is: $120,000 to $155,000

Compensation will be determined based on several factors including, but not limited to: skill set, years of experience and the employee’s geographic location.
