Marketing & Social Media Manager

PRESS and Under-Study are seeking a creative, organized, and motivated Marketing & Social Media Manager to lead day-to-day marketing efforts, content creation, and social media engagement across our hospitality concepts.

This role is responsible for developing and executing social media content, supporting marketing campaigns, managing digital communications, and helping bring the PRESS and Under-Study brands to life through compelling storytelling and guest-focused content. The ideal candidate is comfortable balancing creative work with project coordination and is excited to contribute to a growing and dynamic hospitality environment.

The successful candidate will have experience managing social media platforms, creating engaging content, and coordinating marketing initiatives. They should be self-motivated, highly organized, and able to collaborate effectively with culinary, service, and leadership teams to ensure brand communications authentically represent the food, wine, hospitality, and guest experience that define PRESS and Under-Study.

This role is highly collaborative and hands-on. The right candidate will enjoy spending time in the restaurants, attending events, and capturing the people, experiences, and moments that make our brands unique. Some evening and weekend availability is expected to support events, special activations, and content creation opportunities.

Applicants should include a portfolio showcasing relevant social media, photography, video, design, writing, or marketing work. Experience with hospitality, food and beverage, wine, luxury, or lifestyle brands is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Management

• Manage day-to-day social media activity across all brand channels
• Develop, maintain, and execute content calendars that support business objectives and seasonal initiatives
• Create engaging social media content including posts, stories, reels, and short-form video
• Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities to increase brand awareness and engagement
• Respond to comments, messages, and guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Track and report on social media performance and audience growth

Content Creation & Storytelling

• Capture photography and video highlighting food, wine, team members, events, and guest experiences
• Edit and curate content for social media, email marketing, websites, and promotional campaigns
• Maintain an organized library of photography, video, and brand assets
• Partner with restaurant teams to identify and share authentic brand stories

Marketing & Communications

• Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns, promotions, partnerships, and special events
• Create and distribute newsletters and guest communications
• Maintain marketing calendars and coordinate campaign timelines across departments
• Support media requests and maintain press materials when needed
• Help ensure consistency in messaging and brand standards across all communications

Events & Brand Presence

• Attend and support restaurant events, collaborations, and community initiatives
• Capture content that reflects the hospitality, energy, and guest experience of PRESS and Under-Study
• Assist with promotional planning and event marketing efforts
• Research marketing trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities within hospitality and digital media

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in marketing, social media, communications, or a related field
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, content creation, and community engagement
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong photography, videography, and visual storytelling abilities
• Experience creating and editing short-form video content
• Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar creative tools
• Experience with email marketing platforms and content scheduling tools preferred
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
• Passion for hospitality, restaurants, food, wine, and guest experience
