Position Overview
The Logistics & Inventory Specialist will be responsible for logistics execution, warehouse operations, inventory control, and end-to-end fulfillment of both raw materials and finished goods. This role ensures smooth inbound and outbound flow, maintains accurate inventory visibility, and coordinates effectively with 3PLs and logistics partners to support operational efficiency.
As part of a growing organization, this role may also support ad-hoc supply chain activities as needed. The ideal candidate is collaborative, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to take ownership and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Transportation
- Manage inbound and outbound shipments, including import and domestic transportation
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers
- Track shipment status (ETD/ETA) and proactively resolve delays or disruptions
- Manage delivery appointments and ensure timely warehouse receiving
Warehouse & Inventory Management
- Oversee 3PL warehouse operations and ensure inventory accuracy
- Monitor inventory levels, including in-transit and on-hand inventory
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies such as shortages, damages, and missing inventory
- Maintain accurate inventory records and reporting
Fulfillment & Distribution
- Support fulfillment of finished goods for retail and B2B customers
- Ensure timely delivery of raw materials to production sites
- Review shipping documents (BOL, packing list, ASN) for accuracy
Cost Control & Reporting
- Review and validate logistics invoices including freight, warehousing, and accessorial charges
- Track key logistics KPIs such as on-time delivery rate and cost efficiency
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce costs
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Procurement, Planning, Sales, and Finance teams
- Support operational needs and ad-hoc supply chain initiatives
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with 3PL management and transportation operations
- Strong Excel skills, including data tracking and analysis
- Experience with ERP systems such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Proactive and self-driven with a strong sense of ownership
- Analytical and data-driven mindset with effective cross-functional communication skills
Preferred
- 2–5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or inventory operations
- Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, or 3PL warehouses
- Background in CPG, food & beverage, or high-volume distribution environments
- Familiarity with EDI transactions (e.g., 940/945, ASN)
Work Environment
This is a fully on-site position based at our Irvine, CA office, Monday through Friday. Occasional travel to co-packer or OEM facilities may be required for audits and launch support activities. The role may also require schedule flexibility to support collaboration with HYH's Korea headquarters across time zones.
Compensation & Benefits
The base salary range for this position is $70,000 – $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and demonstrated expertise in food and beverage quality assurance.
In accordance with California law (SB 1162), HYH America provides pay transparency for all open positions. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's relevant work experience, skill set, and alignment with the role requirements.
HYH America offers a competitive benefits package, including company-paid medical coverage (100% of employee premiums, with 20% employer contribution for eligible dependents), 12 days of accrued PTO per year, and 11 company-designated paid holidays.
