Host
We are seeking a poised and professional Host to be the face of our restaurant. As the first and last point of contact for our guests, you are responsible for managing the flow of the dining room and setting the tone for the entire evening. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains grace under pressure, and possesses a "guest-first" mentality.
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Relations: Warmly greet guests upon arrival, manage the waitlist, and escort parties to their tables while providing a brief introduction to the restaurant.
Reservation Management: Expertly operate reservation software (Resy/OpenTable) to maximize covers while ensuring the kitchen and service staff are not overwhelmed.
Table Pacing: Monitor the status of tables (seated, entrees served, dessert, check dropped) to provide accurate wait time estimates.
Communication: Coordinate with the Manager on Duty and Floor Lead regarding VIPs, special occasions, and large party logistics.
Environment Upkeep: Maintain a clean and organized host stand and ensure the entryway and menus are pristine at all times.
