The Project Collections Coordinator's primary role will be to oversee the logistical move of millions of physical archival assets. They will report to the Archives, Manager (Collections and Preservation).
Responsibilities
- Processing, rehousing, and preparing archival assets for physical move.
- Mapping out multiple storage locations through physical inventories and reports via internal CMS.
- Working with site and warehouse managers to facilitate relocation logistics and timeframes.
- Helping to create a budget framework and deliverable goals for the project.
- Entering and updating metadata in internal collection management system.
- Additional department tasks and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Graduate degree in Library and Information Studies.
- 2+ years of experience in with Archives and or collections.
- Ability to work both under minimal supervision and in team-based environment.
- Experience using and update records on collection management systems.
- Experience working with one or more of the following: photography, props, wardrobe, and paper documents.
- Must possess a valid California Driver's License.
- Able to lift 30 to 45 pounds.

The hiring range for this position in Burbank/Glendale, CA is $47,900 to $64,100 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.Recommended Jobs
