Your impact

We're looking for a Construction Manager/Resident to be based in the Irvine, CA area who is excited about working on projects supporting our clients’ business and business practices. Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on construction projects including zero emission bus and bus facility infrastructure projects. You will be expected to be able to work with clients and contractors with the knowledge of construction practices including change management, safety, quality assurance, scheduling, estimating, price negotiations inspection, and oversight of day-to-day activities. By developing and delivering on project scopes, budgets, reports, contracts, and schedules, you’ll help our teams achieve our client’s objectives. Here's what you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, , or related discipline.
• 15+ years of proven experience in Construction Management and civil inspection working on County Public Work projects.
• Knowledge of construction including material, methods, plans and specifications; associated safety requirements.
• Knowledge of current and upcoming relevant local, regional, state and federal regulations governing design, construction, contracting, environmental, and safety measures
• Experience with projects utilizing alternative project delivery.
• Experience supporting clients on multiple capital projects.
• Required to have and maintain a satisfactory driving record
• Current and valid registration as a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of California

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Certified Construction Manager (CCM) Certification
• Proven experience and knowledge with Caltrans Transportation projects

The base salary range for this position is $154,700.00 to $250,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
