Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to work within an early childhood educational setting in Fremont, CA. This contract role spans the full school year and focuses on supporting a high-needs population, including students with severe disabilities and those who are non-verbal.
Responsibilities include implementing tailored occupational therapy interventions to support developmental goals, collaborating with educators and families, and addressing the unique needs of children who may display eloping behaviors. The role demands adaptability and a compassionate approach to foster positive outcomes for this specialized group of students.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings
- Familiarity with early childhood development and therapeutic strategies
- Experience working with high-needs, severe, and non-verbal populations
- Preferred experience in managing or supporting children with eloping behaviors
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

- Early Childhood School located in Fremont, California
Position Details:
- Contract duration from August 14, 2025, through July 24, 2026
- Year-round school with the possibility to renew the contract
