In support of their needs, we are looking for a SAP FICO Architect/ / ONESOURCE Integration Consultant Job Description: Job Title: SAP FICO Architect/ / ONESOURCE Integration Consultant Job Type: Contract Job Location: Pleasanton, CA or Remote anywhere in US Work Schedule: Hybrid or Remote Pay Rate - $75-90 Based on Experience We are looking for a Senior SAP FICO Consultant to lead the integration between our SAP S/4HANA financial systems and Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE. In this role, you will be the bridge between finance and technology, ensuring that global tax calculations, trade compliance, and financial reporting are fully automated and accurate across all our global operations.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Module Setup: Configure core SAP modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR), to sync perfectly with external tax engines.
• Technical Connectivity: Build and maintain the technical bridge between SAP and ONESOURCE using SAP BTP, RFC connections, and secure OAuth 2.0 protocols.
• Tax Mapping: Create "driver" tax codes in SAP that trigger ONESOURCE to calculate taxes automatically.
• Data Alignment: Map internal business data to ONESOURCE rules so the system correctly identifies tax-exempt customers and taxable products.
• Provisioning Automation: Automate the flow of trial balance data to speed up the quarterly and annual tax closing process.
• Global Compliance: Manage specific tax requirements for different regions, such as VAT in the UAE, withholding tax in Brazil, or vendor tax verification in Canada.
• Trade Security: Set up automated screening to ensure all suppliers and customers are checked against global restricted lists.

Qualifications: Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology. SAP Experience: 7 to 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO consulting and implementation. Platform Expertise: Strong technical knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). ONESOURCE Skills: Direct experience with Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE tools like Global Next, Determination, or Tax Provision. Tax Knowledge: Deep understanding of global tax types, including VAT, GST, and US Sales and Use tax. Communication: Ability to explain complex technical tax issues clearly to both IT staff and business executives. Certifications: Official SAP FICO or ONESOURCE certifications are a significant plus.
