Supervisor of Direct Client Care
Serenity Supported Living Service provides assistance and support to developmentally disabled adults and provides them with the tools to allow them to live independently in the community, develop nurturing relationships, and have overall increased control of their lives.
We are recruiting individuals who are creative, honest, and responsive to the needs of our clients while respecting the rights and dignity of all clients. Applicants must be flexible to changes, be patient, and have good work ethic and social skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Supervisor of Direct Client Care is the direct supervisor of the Direct Support Staff. It is the responsibility of the Supervisor of Direct Client Care to ensure that the intended services for each client are being received and is being fulfilled daily by the Direct Support Staff. The duties of the Supervisor of Direct Client Care include, but are not limited to:
The supervision the delivery of all support services by the Direct Support Staff
To ensure the following is completed in accordance to policies:
- Scheduling all appointments
- Training of Support Staff
- Attending client meetings
- Complete and/or update reports
- Gather and submit and information to management
- Assist clients in the absence of Direct Support Staff or in the event of an emergency
- Weekly home visits
- Assist in developing schedules as necessary
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- 18 years of age or older
- Eligible to work in the US
- High school diploma or GED
- Driver License
- Reliable vehicle and valid auto insurance
- Ability to pass LiveScan fingerprinting
- Ability to obtain a CPR and First Aid certification (Must be completed prior to working with clients)
- Minimum 2 year of experience working with developmentally disabled adults
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including discretion, tact and judgment
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Professional demeanor, good attendance, and punctuality
- Ability to take direction and multitask,

Pay: From $3,200.00 per month
