RN Educator of Critical Care- ICU

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced critical care nurse to step into a Critical Care Nurse Educator role at a respected Southern California community hospital. This full-time day position is ideal for a clinical leader who is passionate about education, staff development, and advancing evidence-based patient care .

The Critical Care Nurse Educator will support education across the ICU and Stepdown departments while helping strengthen clinical practice throughout the organization. The hospital encourages professional growth and provides opportunities for nurses to expand their expertise through continuing education, career development, and specialized training programs.

The ICU Nurse Educator will develop and implement education programs, validate staff competencies, and support onboarding for new team members. This role will lead training such as Nurse Residency, Preceptor Workshops, Critical Care Orientation, and ICU/Stepdown New to Specialty programs. The educator will also help introduce new skills, equipment, policies, and clinical processes.

Working closely with nurses, physicians, leadership, and interdisciplinary teams, the Critical Care Educator will identify learning needs and coordinate educational initiatives. The ideal candidate will understand adult learning principles, communicate effectively, and bring a strong passion for developing clinical staff.
