Accounting Specialist - Client Billing & Compliance Coordinator

Qualifications:

• Must have 3-5 years construction accounting experience


• Familiar with general accounting principles and practices


• Sage CRE 300 experience a plus


• Excellent verbal and written communication


• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, & PDF)


• High degree of initiative, personal responsibility, and integrity: positive attitude, flexible, team player


• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team – willing to “go the extra mile” at all times

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process all client billings, including AIA formats (G702/G703) and supporting documentation.


• Manage client billing portals, including uploads, purchase order approvals, and related tasks.


• Review and enter estimates, schedules of values, and owner change orders.


• Monitor and manage the Accounts Receivable inbox.


• Reconcile Accounts Receivable aging with the General Ledger.


• Monitor subcontractor compliance with certified payroll and prevailing wage laws, including verifying, recording, and filing certified payroll reports and corresponding with subcontractors.


• Track and record subcontractor lien releases.


• Respond to subcontractor payment inquiries.


• Process preliminary notices and provide backup support for weekly payruns, as needed.


• Perform miscellaneous month-end tasks related to client billings and compliance.


• Assist with special projects for the Accounting Department.

Salary:

• $70,000 - $110,000 per year DOE
