Laser Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Laser Operators for direct hire opportunities with growing manufacturing operation in Santa Ana, CA.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up, operate, and monitor laser cutting equipment in a manufacturing production environment.
- Read and follow work orders, job instructions, part specifications, and production schedules.
- Load, unload, measure, and inspect materials and finished parts for accuracy and quality.
- Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain production efficiency and product quality.
- Follow safety procedures, quality standards, and shop floor best practices at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and communicate production issues to supervisors as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

- Direct hire opportunity.
- Pay range: $26 to $28 per hour, depending on experience.
- 1st shift schedule: Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
- Overtime may be required, including starting as early as 4:00 AM, staying later, or working Saturdays.
- Location: Santa Ana, CA.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Operate laser cutting equipment in a fast-paced production environment.
- Set up jobs, run parts, and monitor equipment for quality and efficiency.
- Inspect completed parts to confirm they meet specifications and production requirements.
- Support daily production goals with minimal supervision.

- Recent, relevant Laser Operator experience is required.
- Must be able to work independently and hit the ground running with limited training.
- Must meet ITAR requirements as a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to quality are required.
- Good work ethic, punctuality, and ability to support overtime needs are important.
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing or production environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bilingual English and Spanish skills are highly preferred.
- Experience in a high-volume manufacturing, fabrication, or metal production environment is preferred.
- Prior experience working 1st shift with overtime flexibility is a plus.
