Under the general direction of the Assistant Branch Chief, the Office Building Manager III in the Facilities Management Division (FMD), Orange County Management Unit serves as the Building Manager is responsible for directing and supervising a large staff engaged in the overall custodial operation and maintenance services for this portfolio comprised of various State-owned and occupied buildings as well as partial services sites in a major metropolitan area in accordance with FMD policies and procedures. This position is responsible for the overall administration and maintenance of the Orange County Management Unit portfolio, including management of customer service and the operational budget, and will plan and assign work of subordinate staff, and develop an overall master maintenance schedule.


This position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code. The position is responsible for making or participating in the making of governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests. The appointee is required to complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment and once per year.


Per CCR 249.3, this job control may be used to fill subsequent vacancies.
