Temp MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST
We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare facility. The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for greeting and checking in patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and maintaining patient records accurately.Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience working in a medical office setting.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance procedures.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits.
- Verify patient insurance information and process payments.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries promptly.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support the healthcare team.
- Ensure the waiting area is clean and organized.
