Associate Designer, Women's Ready-to-Wear
Citizens of Humanity Group is seeking a talented and passionate Associate Designer of Women’s Ready-to-Wear to join the AGOLDE team. This is an opportunity to be part of a vertically integrated, Los Angeles–based brand recognized globally for its dedication to impeccable fit, quality craftsmanship, and responsible production.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Designers and Creative Director to concept, design, and execute seasonal collections that reflect the brand’s elevated aesthetic and commitment to authenticity.
Responsibilities:
Partner with the Creative Director and Designers to develop seasonal concepts, fabrications, and color direction for AGOLDE RTW
Support Design of all ready-to-wear categories, including wovens, knits, and fleece, with a focus on timeless, modern silhouettes
Create and Maintain Seasonal Concept Boards and Design Decks
Create and maintain detailed technical drawings and design specifications, working closely with the pattern and product development teams
Participate in fittings, ensuring each garment meets AGOLDE’s standards of fit, comfort, and quality
Participate in material sourcing and development with mills and suppliers fabric and trim
Maintain design archives and documentation throughout the development process
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in women’s apparel design with RTW experience strongly preferred
Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
Passion for quality, timeless design, and sustainability
