SUMMARY

The Client Accounting Services Senior Associate is responsible for working with our clients to create and analyze financial reports, manage accounts payable and receivable, process payroll and manage invoices and tax payments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations
  • Compile, analyze, and interpret financial data to present to management and the client
  • Create periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.
  • Communicate with clients about their books and gather missing information
  • Maintain accurate financial records
  • Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
  • Process payroll, payroll tax payments, and new employee setup
  • Prepare sales tax and payroll tax returns
  • Prepare Business Property Tax Statements
  • Prepare annual 1099 forms
  • Ensures client deadlines are met

OTHER DUTIES

  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Drive to client sites as needed

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

  • Ability to learn and instruct co-workers in the use of additional software packages as needed by the firm.

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree or Bookkeeping Certificate preferred.
  • 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience required, preferably in the financial/professional services industry.
  • Previous experience with time and billing software preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Ability to use accounting software to record, store, and analyze financial data.
  • Ability to efficiently operate a 10-key calculator or equivalent and other related office equipment.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills (QuickBooks, PDF Editor, Microsoft Office).
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of the technology tools required within assigned responsibilities.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Valid drivers license, acceptable driving record, adequate insurance

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee is constantly required to sit and use a computer and keyboard . The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms, use the telephone and talk or hear. The employee is often required to stand, walk, and stoop or bend. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Typical corporate office environment. Frequent incoming telephone calls, printers, scanners and copiers as well as clients contribute to a noise level of average to above-average. Frequent interruptions may occur.

Wage Transparency

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $34.00-$36.00/hour (annualized $70,720.00 and $74,880.00 per year). Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
