Job Title: Quality Control Associaite

Job Location: San Clemente, CA

H ours: Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm must be able to support OT Saturday's as well

- The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for in-plant process testing and compliance to standards using Clients quality and food safety policy.

- Perform tests of the production operations and equipment to ensure our products conform to specifications Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products and recommend necessary corrective actions

- Monitor the quality of the product manufactured and inspect process controls points

- Reject or retain substandard products that fall outside of defined tolerances

- Responsible for timely completion and accuracy of paperwork

- May use computer software and electronic equipment to enter data

- Establish, maintain and promote good communications with all departments Performs other tasks and duties as needed

Skills and Requirements

- Quality Control environment is preferred.

- Experience working in a food manufacturing environment is preferred.

- Able to utilize standard processes, procedures, and equipment.

- Prior experience with HACCP a plus

- Able to perform essential math functions, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.

Experience / Education

- General high school degree/GED or equivalent preferred

- Prior work in a related field would be an advantage.

- Certificate in Food Handling, Culinary Arts, or other related training or education is helpful.

- Must be 18 or older to apply as required for machinery and/or equipment utilization

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 55 per week
