We are actively seeking a Director of Transient Sales to join our team.

Job Summary: The Director of Transient Sales is responsible for leading Beacon Grands transient revenue strategy and team to drive profitable room nights from corporate negotiated business consortia TMCs and direct web channels. This role owns the transient segment plan key account portfolio and channel mix optimization in partnership with Revenue Management Marketing and Distribution to achieve ADR RevPAR and market share goals while protecting rate integrity and brand positioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy and Planning
    • Build and execute the annual transient sales plan aligned to budget segmentation and seasonality.
    • Set production targets by segment (corporate negotiated consortia wholesale FIT as applicable).
    • Partner with Revenue Management to align pricing fences LOS and inventory controls.
  • Account Management and Business Development
    • Prospect qualify and close new corporate transient accounts; renew and grow existing accounts.
    • Lead RFP strategy and submissions (GDS/Consortia TMCs corporate programs); negotiate value-based agreements.
    • Maintain a top-50 strategic account list with quarterly business reviews and action plans.
  • Leadership and Collaboration
    • Lead coach and develop the transient sales team (e.g. Sales Manager Sales Coordinator).
    • Partner cross-functionally with Front Office Reservations Revenue and Finance to ensure a seamless guest journey and clean bookings.
    • Uphold Beacon Grands brand standards storytelling and guest experience in all sales efforts.
  • Systems and Compliance
    • Ensure disciplined use of CRM (activities pipelines account plans) and accurate tracking in PMS/CRS and GDS.
    • Manage RFP tools (Lanyon/Cvent) rate loading and audits for parity and content accuracy.
    • Adhere to company policies contracting guidelines and data privacy standards.

Qualifications

  • 57 years of hotel sales experience with a focus on transient segments; luxury/upper-upscale urban experience preferred.
  • Proven success leading RFP cycles corporate negotiated accounts and consortia/TMC relationships.
  • Strong grasp of revenue management principles channel profitability and digital distribution.
  • Proficient with CRM (Salesforce/Delphi) PMS/CRS GDS and RFP platforms (Lanyon/Cvent).
  • Excellent negotiation communication and presentation skills; data-driven with strong analytical capability.
  • Bachelors degree in Business Hospitality or related field; equivalent experience considered.
