Location: Los Angeles County
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (with a 1-hour lunch)
Compensation: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour

Here’s What You’ll Be Doing
As the Inspector, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that our properties meet stringent quality and safety standards. You’ll be the go-to expert for routine inspections, tenant inquiries, and ensuring compliance with various housing programs. Your impact will be felt throughout our entire portfolio.

 

• Conduct regular inspections for properties and vacant units
• Manage semi-annual, Systematic Code Enforcement Program (SCEP), Section-8, and other required inspections.
• Coordinate with city housing inspectors, tenants, and in-house teams to ensure seamless access and inspection scheduling.
• Utilize property management software like AppFolio to keep our inspection calendar accurate and up-to-date.

You Need These Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who’s detail-oriented, proactive, and ready to make an impact. If that sounds like you, you’ll thrive in this role.

• You have experience in property inspections and construction quality control, with a solid understanding of building codes and construction management practices.
• You’re tech-savvy, with experience using property management software like AppFolio and Dropbox.
• You’re an effective communicator, able to interact confidently with tenants, city inspectors, clients, and colleagues.
• You have a strong attention to detail, ensuring that every inspection meets high standards for quality and accuracy.

It Would Be Nice If

• You’ve worked in a fast-paced environment and can juggle multiple inspections while keeping everything organized.
• You’re familiar with city inspections, such as SCEP or Section-8, and can confidently manage these processes.
• You’ve got experience using time-keeping software like QuickBooks Time for efficient reporting.
• Ability to speak Spanish fluently, which would help in serving our diverse tenant base.
