About RVR

RVR is a Japanese izakaya-inspired tavern where the community at large gathers to share food, drinks and music. Our menu includes raw fish, cooked vegetables, hand rolls, grilled meats and ramen. Our beverage program features a selection of cocktails, wine, beer, spirits, and sake. The music program is a mix of vinyl, cassettes, and hand-picked playlists curated by Carlos Niño.

Responsibilities:

● The food runner is responsible for ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests by providing knowledgeable, efficient, and professional service.

● Assisting with setting up and breaking down dining room tables and maintaining a clean and organized dining room.

Requirements:

● 3 year of experience as a food runner or busser in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

● Strong organizational and time-management skills.

● Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

● Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

● Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.

● Must have a current California Food Handler Card and Alcoholic Beverage Control

(ABC) license.
