Job Description and Duties

The Correctional Supervising Cook ensure that all items needed for meals are present, and in proper amount, and supervise the preparation of meals ensuring that all foods meet standards for quality and wholsomeness. Supervise and instruct incarcerated persons in all phases of cooking, proper use and handling of utensils, foods, and equipment, adher to the standards of sanitation. Adhere to rules and regulations set forth in the insititutional procedures, Departme of Operations Manual and Food Service policiies and procedures.

Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position(s).
