SCD Application Service Manager

Work you'll do/Responsibilities

• Responsible for the delivery and operational integrity of Games-time competition data applications, including the Commentator Information System, Web and Mobile Results platforms, and Common Codes services.
• Provide leadership across planning, integration, testing, and Games-time operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent distribution of competition data to broadcasters, digital channels, and stakeholders.
• Work closely with sport, broadcast, and technology partners, manage risk, oversee issue resolution, and ensure applications perform reliably under peak Games-time conditions.
• Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management
• Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of proven experience in software development, systems integration, and IT management.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience managing the delivery and integration of complex competition data applications across multiple platforms (web, mobile, broadcast systems)
• Proven experience supporting Games-time operations and critical operational windows
• Strong background in identifying, assessing, and mitigating technical and operational risks across application portfolios
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
• Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to California and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $130,000 to $180,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
