Technical Program Manager - Fiber Optic Systems (Murrieta)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) with a specialized background in Fiber Optics. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex engineering development and program execution. You will be the primary technical interface for major industry Primes, ensuring that high-bandwidth, resilient optical solutions meet the rigorous demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Prime Liaison: Serve as the central point of contact for Aerospace Primes, managing technical interchanges, Design Readiness Reviews (DRR), and Milestone Reviews (PDR/CDR).
• Analytical Reporting: Author comprehensive technical analysis reports.

· Strategic Planning: Develop and maintain detailed program schedules, identifying critical path dependencies in the supply chain.

· Quality & Compliance: Ensure all programs adhere to AS9100 standards and specific military specifications (MIL-SPEC)

Required Skills & Qualifications

· U.S. Citizenship: Strictly required due to the nature of contracts and access to controlled information.

· Fiber Optics Expertise: Deep technical understanding of single-mode/multi-mode fiber, opto-electronics, and fiber optical devices.

· Technical Writing: Proven ability to execute technical writing that balances a logical flow where the customer requirements, the technical methodology, the test data, and the final conclusions are perfectly linked.

Preferred Experience

· Experience managing Subcontracts or Statements of Work (SOW) within the aerospace ecosystem.

· PMP or equivalent program management certification.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Experience

5+ years of relevant industry experience in technical program management or a related discipline.

Compensation

$80k - $115k, based on experience
