Program Manager, PLM
Tesla is seeking an experienced professional who will fit into a Program Management role that supports product development during every phase of lifecycle. This role sits at the intersection of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), program execution, and product engineering operations, ensuring that every component, specification, and revision is accurate, traceable, and aligned with Tesla’s rapid innovation goals. What You'll Do Define product structures, configuration schemas, and access control schemas for new products within CAD/PLM systems and internal engineering toolsExecute product structure population, evolution, and consolidation activities according to program requirements and milestonesDefine requirements for product structure data consolidation, augmentation, configuration, and integration, and implement these into internal engineering toolsCreate and maintain dashboards to assess the quality and maturity of program data continuously and in real timeComplete program data audits based on program needs and milestonesLead the development, rollout, and training of new PLM processes, procedures, standards, and system enhancements What You'll Bring Degree in Engineering, or equivalent experienceMinimum 2 years of experience using industry-standard PLM/CAD products (ENOVIA 3DX/CATIA V6) in multidisciplinary (hardware/software) consumer product designMinimum 2 years of program or project management experience, including at least one complete product development cycleAbility to work independently under tight deadlines with limited resources and a strong bias toward actionComprehensive knowledge of bill of materials structure, change control, and product lifecycle management standardsStrong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills for working in a highly cross-functional environmentExceptional organization and delegation skills with a proven track record of owning product roadmaps and delivering projects on timeDemonstrated Proficiency in Microsoft office business tools Benefits
