The Role
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic AI Product Manager to lead cross-functional coordination and drive the success of AI use cases across our organization. This role is responsible for managing account profitability, resource allocation, and ensuring rapid, high-quality delivery of AI use cases—each treated as an independent product.
The position requires strong relationship-building, organizational management, and the ability to influence teams across our engineering and data science teams while aligning to internal/ external policies and client needs. In this role you will work directly with executive teams, P&L leaders and key business stakeholders to identify, structure, and communicate high-impact AI opportunities.
What you'll work on:
- Identifying top targets, crafting outreach strategies, establishing early traction with enterprise buyers, and lead discovery calls
- Own the full lifecycle of AI product development from initial opportunity scoping to client buy-in and signed contract, ensuring alignment with the customer’s business and technical goals.
- Design and refine sales collateral, demos, and tools that speed up the path to close
- Build and maintain strong relationships with executive teams, P&L leaders, and key business stakeholders to identify and scope strategic AI opportunities.
- Collaborate with business units to define and structure AI use cases. While not owning the use case itself, ensure quality control and readiness for handoff to data science teams.
- Own the P&L for each account, ensuring profitability and optimal resource allocation across AI initiatives.
- Drive speed to delivery by managing organizational coordination, timelines, and execution of AI use cases.
- Act as the connective tissue between engineering, Palantir, client teams, data, and policy groups—exerting influence without direct authority in a lateral organizational role.
- Interface directly with customers and end users to gather insights, manage expectations, and refine use case scope. Partnering with customer success team to ensure smooth handoff and long-term adoption.
- 8–10+ years in enterprise SaaS sales, management consulting, or product/portfolio management within AI, data science, or technology domains.
- 3+ years in a leadership or team-lead role; comfortable both selling and mentoring.
- Proven experience managing P&L and resource allocation across complex accounts.
- Strong background in enterprise AI product development, consulting, or client-facing roles.
- Familiarity with early-stage environments and building strategy from the ground up.
- Clear, confident communicator able to break down complex ideas for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams in matrixed or lateral organizational structures.
- Experience working with engineering, data science, and policy teams; familiarity with platforms like Palantir or similar data integration tools is a plus.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with a focus on speed and quality of delivery.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa.
- Familiarity with data governance, compliance, and policy considerations in AI projects.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or technical background is a plus.
- Background in AI/ML or data science is a plus.
- Experience in consulting or client-facing roles.
- Work at the forefront of AI/ML innovation in life insurance, annuities, and financial services.
- Drive AI transformation for some of the most sophisticated financial entities.
- Be part of a high-growth AI startup scaling from 30 to 80+ employees.
- Competitive compensation, benefits, future equity options, and leadership opportunities.
