Senior Full Stack Engineer, Plans Engineering

You will be part of the Plans Engineering Team. The team is responsible for designing and building the applications and services used to create and manage healthcare plans on behalf of our clients, the core of our business.
What you'll do:
- Build the software that we use to create, configure, and manage complex healthcare plans for our clients
- Lead end-to-end development of services across the stack, from backend to frontend
- Design and develop scalable, secure and configurable services
- Collaborate with product managers, other engineers, and teams across the company to solve complex real-world problems
- Participate in team projects, from understanding the challenges we are solving for to proposing and implementing solutions
- Drive architectural decisions and champion reusable patterns for cloud-native, AI-enabled systems
- Mentor other engineers and influence best engineering practices in system design, testing, and continuous delivery
- Employ agile methodologies to manage sprints and ensure continuous delivery
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- 5 or more years experience working as a full stack engineer
- Prior experience architecting, building, launching and maintaining complex systems
- Be well-versed in technologies such as Java & Spring with a strong understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience building frontend features in React/Angular, even if it’s not your primary focus
- Experience working hands on with native cloud capabilities with AWS/GCP
- Hands-on experience with data architecture, SQL/PostgreSQL
- Experience using and driving the use of AI-enhanced development tooling like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or WindSurf as part of your regular development workflow
- Ability to clearly communicate across teams
- To enjoy working with a team of awesome collaborative co-workers
Pay Transparency Statement
This is a hybrid position based out of one of our offices: San Francisco, CA, Plano, TX, or Lehi, UT. Hybrid employees are expected to be in the office two days per week. #LI-hybrid
The actual pay rate offered within the range will depend on factors including geographic location, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition to the salary, you will be eligible for 115,000 stock options and benefits like health insurance, 401k, and paid time off . Learn more about our benefits at .

$134,500—$168,750 USD
Lehi, UT Pay Range
$107,635—$134,000 USD
Plano, TX Pay Range
$117,500—$147,000 USD
