Quality Inspector

LaSalle Network is partnering with an industry leader to hire a Quality Inspector for its Markham location. This Quality Inspector thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment and will take ownership of onsite quality control processes, performing inspections, testing, and validation activities while working closely with plant leadership to ensure all incoming materials and products meet strict quality and specification standards.

• Perform incoming product inspections (no production onsite) to ensure compliance with specifications
• Conduct dimensional inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measurement tools
• Review and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerances
• Perform material and product validation testing as required
• Document inspection findings and maintain accurate quality records and reports
• Collaborate with Plant Manager and Quality leadership to address issues and maintain standards
• Ensure consistent quality compliance for all incoming materials
• Support continuous improvement efforts within onsite quality processes

What’s needed?

• 2+ years of experience in quality inspection or quality control
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
• Hands-on experience with dimensional inspection and precision measuring tools
• Experience with material testing and product validation
• Comfort working independently as the sole QC representative onsite
• Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with steel, aluminum, plastics, or specialty materials preferred
• ISO 9000/9001 or OSHA experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Key Details

• Compensation: $50,000–$75,000 annually
