About the Role

AE Studio is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing team. You will ensure the day to day accounting activities are accurate and timely, and support leadership in developing data-driven insights to help drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment utilizing a variety of data sources and software systems.

This role will drive the accounting function with responsibilities for invoice generation, accounts receivable tracking, accounts payable tracking, and job costing.

Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of financial information in our recently implemented cloud-based accounting system software.

Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records.

Collaborate with Program Directors to ensure invoicing accuracy and understand potential challenges.

Must-Haves

• 2+ years of accounting experience


• Experience working in cloud based financial systems (e.g. QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct) and Microsoft Excel


• Highly detail oriented and organized


• Self-starter and ability to operate independently


• Passion for emerging technologies and AI

Nice-to-Haves

• Background at high-growth and early stage company environments


• Prior participation in new financial software systems rollouts and adoption


• Familiarity with ERP system Sage Intacct
