Senior Director, FP&A – Supply Chain & Operations Our client, a publicly traded life sciences company, is seeking a Senior Director of FP&A to support its expanding Supply Chain and Tech Ops organization. Location: South San Francisco, CA. This position follows a hybrid work arrangement. Job Description: This highly visible leadership role serves as a strategic finance partner to operational leaders and will drive forecasting, planning, performance analysis, and decision support across a complex global environment. The ideal candidate brings a blend of operational finance expertise, business partnering skills, and the ability to influence strategy in a fast-growing organization. Responsibilities: Serve as the primary finance business partner to Supply Chain and Operations leadership teams Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning activities for operations and supply chain functions Develop financial models and forward-looking analyses to support business decisions and resource allocation strategies Partner cross-functionally to align operational plans, demand forecasts, production activities, and business objectives Monitor and analyze key operational and financial performance metrics, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement Support cost analysis, inventory planning, procurement activities, and overall operational performance management Promote effective financial controls, process improvements, and operational efficiencies across the organization Mentor finance team members and help elevate financial planning capabilities across the broader organization Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred 10 years of progressive finance leadership experience supporting operations, manufacturing, or supply chain organizations Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and operational finance principles Proven ability to partner with senior executives and influence strategic decision-making Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and business partnering skills in a complex, global environment Compensation: Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors, including but not limited to: The individual’s skill sets, experience, and training; Licensure and certifications; Office location and other geographic considerations; Other business and organizational needs.
