SAGE INTACCT IMPLEMENTATION ACCOUNTANT

Accountant (Contract) - Sage Intacct Implementation

Location: Sacramento, CA

Duration: 6-Month Contract (Potential for Permanent Hire)

Pay Rate: $40-$50/hour DOE

A growing Sacramento-area construction company is seeking an experienced Accountant with Sage Intacct expertise to play a key role in the implementation of a new ERP system. This individual will help lead the Sage Intacct rollout, support system testing and process improvements, train employees on the new software, and provide ongoing post-implementation support.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the implementation and adoption of Sage Intacct across the organization.
• Support system configuration, testing, data validation, and process improvements.
• Train end users and develop documentation for accounting and operational teams.
• Provide accounting support, including general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Partner with payroll and operations teams to ensure accurate job costing and labor reporting.
• Serve as a resource for troubleshooting and system-related questions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with Sage Intacct , preferably including implementation or optimization projects.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience training users on accounting software and processes.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Construction industry accounting experience.
• Experience with union payroll processing and compliance .
• Knowledge of job costing and project accounting.
• Previous ERP implementation experience.
