Description:
Weedmaps is looking for detail-oriented and motivated individuals to join their team as Data Entry Associates in Irvine, California. This is an on-site position requiring attendance five days per week, focused on maintaining and enhancing product data accuracy across the platform.

In this role, you will be responsible for curating and managing cannabis product listings by linking retailer menu items to the appropriate brand catalog entries. The position operates in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where accuracy, speed, and adaptability are essential. You will play a key role in ensuring a seamless and reliable user experience for customers by maintaining high-quality data standards.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working with large volumes of information, can quickly learn product distinctions across various markets, and demonstrates strong attention to detail while maintaining productivity goals.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing and processing cannabis-related product data within the Weedmaps platform
• Matching retailer menu items with corresponding brand catalog products accurately
• Managing multiple data sources to support informed decision-making
• Identifying inconsistencies or errors in listings and reporting them promptly
• Collaborating with team members to resolve issues and improve workflows
• Entering and updating data with a high level of precision and efficiency
• Following established standard operating procedures and tracking daily performance
• Suggesting improvements to enhance productivity and operational processes
• Adapting quickly to changes in priorities and maintaining a positive attitude

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in data entry, customer support, or similar high-volume roles
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to meet daily productivity targets in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in tools such as Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets) or Microsoft Office
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks and problem-solving

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience or familiarity with the cannabis industry and related products
• Background as a budtender or in a similar role
• Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM tools
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau
