- Performance Reviews (and compensation reviews)
- Conduct all levels of product inspections using a variety of inspection instruments and equipment (e.g. CMM, micrometers, calipers, parallels, sine bars, height masters, optical comparator, Johnson gauges, etc.)
- Verify compliance of finished hardware with drawing requirements based on shop practices as they relate to unfinished hardware.
- Perform both detailed, assembly-level drawings with appropriate supporting documentation verifying actual results against drawing and/or specification requirements.
- Correctly read and interpret detailed, assembly-level drawings and customer specifications.
- Use shop mathematical calculations relative to the complexity of the project (e.g., GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, calculations for areas, angles, lengths, etc.)
- Execute formal first article reports to AS9102 standards.
- Mentor inspectors, as needed.
- Use statistical process control (SPC) symbols and tools along with correct interpretation of associated control plans and charts.
- Meet deadlines of assigned jobs while maintaining the integrity of the position.
- Work closely with customer representatives during source inspections and audits.
- Seek lean process improvements.
- High school diploma/GED
- 1 year certificate from college or technical school OR 3-5 years related experience and/or training
- US Citizenship required
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to understand and conform to internal company procedures.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

- Realizar planos detallados de ensamble con la documentación de respaldo correspondiente, verificando los resultados reales con los requisitos del plano o las especificaciones.
- Leer e interpretar correctamente los planos detallados de ensamble y las especificaciones del cliente. * Utilizar cálculos matemáticos de taller según la complejidad del proyecto (p. ej., GD&T, acumulación de tolerancias, cálculos de áreas, ángulos, longitudes, etc.).
- Elaborar informes formales de primer artículo según las normas AS9102.
- Asesorar a los inspectores, según sea necesario.
- Utilizar símbolos y herramientas de control estadístico de procesos (CEP), así como la correcta interpretación de los planes y gráficos de control asociados.
- Cumplir con los plazos de los trabajos asignados, manteniendo la integridad del puesto.
- Colaborar estrechamente con los representantes del cliente durante las inspecciones y auditorías en origen.
- Buscar mejoras en los procesos lean.
- Diploma de bachillerato/GED
- Certificado de 1 año de universidad o escuela técnica O 7 años de experiencia o capacitación relacionada.
- Se requiere ciudadanía estadounidense.
- Buenas habilidades de comunicación escrita y verbal.
- Excelentes habilidades analíticas y de resolución de problemas.
- Atención al detalle.
