Job Details

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced MEP Commercial Project Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile construction projects, where you will be responsible for managing all aspects of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) services from inception to completion. You will be a key player in ensuring that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of the MEP design and construction processes, including coordinating with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals.

2. Develop and manage project budgets and forecasts, ensuring that all work is carried out within the agreed financial parameters.

3. Prepare and present regular project reports to stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, costs, and any potential issues or risks.

4. Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

5. Manage the procurement process for all MEP materials and services, including negotiating contracts and managing relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.

6. Coordinate and supervise the work of the MEP team, providing guidance and support as needed.

7. Proactively identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the construction process, implementing solutions that minimize disruption to the project.

8. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that all work is being carried out to the highest quality standards and that project schedules are being adhered to.

Requirements/Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry, with a specific focus on MEP services.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale commercial construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent budgeting and financial management skills, with the ability to develop and manage complex project budgets and forecasts.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coordinate and supervise the work of a diverse team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues that may arise during the construction process.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to a range of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using project management software and tools.
