Mobile Diesel Mechanic – Afternoon Shift
Location: Greater Los Angeles Area
Pay: $32–$45/hour (based on experience) + benefits
Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

A growing fleet services company is hiring an experienced Mobile Diesel Mechanic to cover Los Angeles and the surrounding area. This is not a roadside role — you’ll be dispatched daily to perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs at customer yards and terminals. Work is steady, equipment is solid, and the routes are established.

This position starts and ends each day from home. A fully equipped service truck is provided, and you’ll be dispatched directly to your first job.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repairs on diesel trucks and trailers

• Conduct safety and DOT inspections

• Complete accurate documentation and service reports

• Communicate directly with customers and build working relationships over time

• Manage your day independently based on the provided schedule

What You Need:

• 3+ years of diesel truck/trailer repair experience

• Strong all-around mechanical skills: electrical, suspension, brakes, engine diagnostics, etc.

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Comfortable working independently and representing the company on-site with customers

• Own basic hand tools (specialty tools and truck are provided)

• $32–$45 per hour, depending on experience

• Company service truck (take-home)

• Afternoon shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday
