Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and provide nursing care to patients in the critical care setting
- Supervise and delegate care to ancillary personnel within scope of practice
- Apply advanced critical care nursing knowledge for patients with multi-system failure requiring ventilation, neuro/trauma management, respiratory support, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation, monitor patient status, and respond to changes in condition
- Support patients and families while ensuring safety and comfort during critical events

Requirements
- Active RN license to practice in California
- ICU/CVICU critical care nursing experience or strong background in high-acuity care
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced CVICU environment
- Proficient in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative critical care team
- This role is represented by CNA
