About the RoleQuince is a three Michelin-starred restaurant dedicated to thoughtful hospitality, exceptional ingredients, and meticulous craftsmanship. We are seeking a passionate Bread Production Assistant to join our pastry and bakery team. This role supports the daily production of our house-made breads while maintaining the highest standards of quality, consistency, and organization. If you enjoy working with naturally fermented doughs, appreciate precision, and are eager to develop your skills in a world-class kitchen, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities- Assist with the daily production of house-made breads and laminated doughs.
- Scale, mix, divide, shape, proof, and bake bread according to established standards.
- Prepare ingredients and maintain daily mise en place.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
- Properly label, store, and rotate products following food safety standards.
- Support the pastry and culinary teams with production projects as needed.
- Execute all tasks with consistency, efficiency, and attention to detail.
- Previous professional bakery, pastry, or kitchen experience preferred.
- Passion for artisan bread and fermentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Availability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
