Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist serving a hospital setting in Bishop, CA. Use your skills to treat pediatric and adult outpatient populations, perform instrumental swallowing evaluations, and provide occasional coverage for acute care patients. This role emphasizes outpatient practice with limited inpatient support and offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule with one weekend on-call rotation each month.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current California Speech-Language Pathology license required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience with both pediatric and adult outpatient populations.
• Ability to independently perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) for adults.
• Willingness to float to acute care units as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Inpatient/acute care SLP experience preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish skills preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0800–1830.
• Regular schedule: Monday–Friday, structured as 4x10.
• One weekend per month on call. Call hours approximately 0700–0900 for that weekend coverage.
• Primarily outpatient practice. Approximately 60–70% pediatrics and 30–40% adults in outpatient caseload.
• Approximately one outpatient MBSS per week.
• Float to acute care as needed for inpatient adult cases (most commonly stroke and other neuro diagnoses).
